Setup

In SETUP, players create one or more sets, earning points to navigate the board. The number of points awarded on each turn is contingent upon your ability to identify sequences and by playing a set that generates multiple combinations on the board. Even during your opponents' turns, they may inadvertently provide you with points by forming sets using tiles located in your bonus spaces, so it is essential to remain vigilant in order to seize those additional points. SETUP is a game centered around strategic tile placement, where players form sets of numbers with matching suits. However, planning ahead is not always feasible due to the stacking of tiles, which means that a sequence you intended to execute may vanish when your opponents take their turns. The strategy becomes even more complex in team play mode, where you collaborate with a partner to devise your sets collectively. You will strive to optimize points, assist your partner in forming sets, and mutually provide bonus points. Be cautious about the number of points you accumulate, as the game concludes when the first player crosses the finish line; however, securing first place does not guarantee victory; it is the team that successfully avoids finishing last when the game concludes that wins!
