Tamiya 1/35 German Assault Pioneer Team and Goliath Set

This Tamiya plastic model kit depicts the Goliath, a remote-controlled WWII German explosive device (Sd.Kfz.302), alongside a German assault pioneer team. The tracked Goliath measured just 1.5m in length and could carry up to 60kg of explosives, controlled remotely via cable — deployed by Sturmpionier (assault pioneer) units to give the advantage of surprise on all fronts, including against the Allied invasion of Normandy.

Package includes:

• Parts to build 2 complete Goliath tracked mines (approx. 46.5mm length x 24mm width x 15.5mm height each), with assembly-type tracks and a choice of open or closed rear hatch
• Parts for 3 full-body assault pioneer figures in realistic poses: a kneeling Goliath operator, a commander surveying the battlefield, and a soldier taking aim
• Weapons and accessories: Karabiner 98K rifle, MP40 sub-machine gun, binoculars, P08 Luger holster/magazine pouch, Goliath remote controller, duffel bag, and water canister
• Enamel wire to recreate the Goliath's remote-control cable
