Trumpeter 1/32 TBD-1A Devastator

The Trumpeter 1/32 TBD-1A Devastator is an unassembled plastic scale model kit depicting the Douglas TBD Devastator, a U.S. Navy torpedo bomber first ordered in 1934 and entering service in 1937. Though advanced for its time, the aircraft was already outdated by the attack on Pearl Harbor, and it suffered heavy losses at the Battle of Midway before being withdrawn from front-line service. This kit features a detailed fuselage and wing design, highly detailed engine, finely detailed cockpit, photo-etch parts, and folding wings. Paint and glue are sold separately; recommended for modelers aged 14 and up.
